THE BLACK GOLD DERBY

The Black Gold Derby is the official title of the head-to-head rivalry between OKC Energy FC and Tulsa Roughnecks FC. The Black Gold Derby (pronounced 'darby') will consist of all competitive match-ups between the Energy and the Roughnecks during the regular USL season, plus competitive matches that can occur during U.S. Open Cups. A trophy is awarded to the winning supporter club, by the losing supporter club, when the victor of the series is determined. The trophy is awarded based on points earned for wins (3 points each) and draws (1 point each) during the respective season.

The traveling trophy of the Black Gold Derby is a 4' pipe wrench painted in the colors of the OKC Energy FC on one side and the colors of the Tulsa Roughnecks FC on the other. A blue stripe, a color shared by both teams, wraps around the wrench.
